This dance drama was an adaptation of Tagore’s poem 'Pujarini', combining the musical compositions in Natir Puja. Innovatively choreographed, using the Manipuri style of dance, with lasya and the martial arts, this dance drama highlighted the conflict in ancient India that had arisen between the dominant Brahmanical religion and the newly emerging Buddhist philosophy of life.
