This is the entry point to the centrally air conditioned building which one reaches after climbing a short flight of steps from the street level. Under a glass atrium this area is dominated by the bronze bust of Rabindranath Tagore by the famous sculptor Ramkinkar Baij. On either side of the court are impressive fountains with onyx facades.
