Nandalal Bose Gallery – 392.28 sq m (4220.92 sq ft)

This gallery on the 3rd floor, is accessible by elevator, is the largest of the galleries. Running in a semi circle, this gallery has benches in the middle affording visitors some rest and an imposing view of the lawns in front or the Fountain Court at the back. For the inaugural celebrations (June 1 – 15, 2008) it housed two exhibitions – 'The Lost Palaces of Delhi' – from the 18th century collection of paintings by Jean Bapiste Gentil, a collaboration with the Embassy of France and the Alliance Francaise and a photographic exhibition of Binoy K. Behl.
