Ramkinkar Baij Sculpture Court - Display area - 165.95 sq m (1785.68 sq ft)

Adjoining the Abanindranath Tagore Gallery is the Ramkinkar Baij Sculpture Court under a glass top atrium. Centrally air conditioned with fresh light filling the court, this space is ideal for the display of sculptures. A short flight of steps up from the Fountain Court at the entry level, leads to this Sculpture Court on the 2nd floor, at the entrance of which, stands the imposing bronze statue of Nataraja which seems to preside over the building. The location of the Sculpture Court with an adjoining gallery makes it a suitable reception space for the inauguration of an exhibition as well as a popular venue for book launches and workshops. With space that can accommodate 100 chairs it can also have a buffet arrangement.
